About Me
I help people find answers they didn’t know they had, and I include myself in that bunch. I’m a thinker, writer, learner, and maker with a simple mission of being useful where I can—like a helpful catalyst for change.
The way I see it, if I can help someone feel just a little better off each day or help make products just a little less frustrating to use, that feeling will spread like a ripple of goodwill. One less irritation, one second saved, one extra smile will compound as people pass it on to others, knowingly or unknowingly.
What I do best is observed and ask Why (much to the annoyance of my original computer science professors). What brings me joy is being a sounding board and personal growth partner for others.
Career wise, trying to explain what I am and what I do feels a bit like asking Homer Simpson what jobs he’s had haha. I’ve been a leader, coach, mentor, research manager, designer, product owner, software engineer, QA engineer, blogger, podcaster, special events coordinator, meetup host, conference panellist, comedy show co-producer, stand-up and improv comedy performer, musician, FM radio DJ, line cook, camp counsellor, and countless more experiments.
