About Me

I’m a thinker, writer, learner, maker, and mentor helping businesses, founders, and friends find a way forward—like a catalyst for positive change. Being generous and useful first is my way of delivering value, and that’s what I try to instil in the companies and startups I support.

It starts with genuine curiosity driven from my insatiable urge to understand how and why people do what they do. The more I understand others’ expectations and experiences, the better I can improve my life and theirs, businesses included.

These mindsets have driven my 20-year career of stepping into ambiguous problem spaces and discovering viable solutions. I’m best at asking the kinds of questions that uncover gaps and unlock ideas.

And, I’m proudly a generalist by nature. I’ve been a people leader, startup advisor, mentor & coach, research manager, experience designer & strategist, product owner, software & test engineer, blogger, podcaster, course creator, meetup host, chapter lead, special events coordinator, workshop facilitator, conference speaker, comedy show producer, game show creator, stand-up and improv performer, FM radio DJ, band leader, jewellery maker, line cook, camp counsellor, volunteer, and more roles I’ve probably forgotten.
