I am a thinker, writer, learner, and maker with a simple mission of being useful.

What gets me out of bed is being a catalyst for change; asking considered questions to unstick people’s thinking so they can lead better lives and make better things. I’m playing the long game of generosity.

I do this because the actions we take have the potential to send a ripple of goodwill across history. If I can help others feel just a little better off or make products just a little less frustrating, I see the impacts compounding. With every smile earned and second saved, they’ll be paying it forward; helping it spread to the next people they see. This is the vision that motivates me.

I am a generalist by nature, and thrive in taking complex ideas and distilling them down into actionable takeaways. Doing so has led to a wide and varied career as a people leader, mentor, coach, research manager, designer, product owner, software and QA engineer, blogger, podcaster, course creator, special events coordinator, meetup host, conference panellist, comedy show producer, stand-up and improv performer, game show co-creator, musician, FM radio DJ, jewellery maker, line cook, camp counsellor, volunteer, and more I’ve probably forgotten.
